What follows applies to platterlane.com, where PlatterLane publishes party food spreads and grazing boards. It covers what we collect, who else is involved, and the rights you hold.

Keeping Data Safe

Nothing is kept longer than it is needed for. Analytics data ages out on the provider’s schedule, subscriber addresses last until you unsubscribe, comments stay until removed. Access is limited, connections are encrypted in transit, and while no site can promise perfect security, we take reasonable and proportionate measures.

This site is written for adults. It is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets that threshold), we do not knowingly collect data from them, and if we learn we have, we delete it.

Information Received

Two kinds of information reach us. The first is automatic: standard server and analytics data such as IP address, approximate location, device and browser details, and which pages of platterlane.com were viewed. The second is whatever you deliberately hand over — a comment, a newsletter signup, or a message you send us.
